On the administration’s recommendation, the board approved a resolution authorizing the distribution of $1,155,963.73 in gaming funds to 5,162 eligible homesteads and one farmstead property under "section 342 of Act 1." The motion was moved and seconded and the president announced the vote was unanimous.
The board then approved a tax‑levy resolution setting the 2026–27 real estate tax rate at 28.6565 mills, described at the meeting as a 4.4% increase from the prior rate; the motion passed unanimously. Finally, the board approved the district’s general fund final budget for 2026–27 with total expenditures of $81,525,896.
Procedurally the items were presented under action item 10.2 with separate votes on the homestead/farmstead distribution, the tax levy and the budget. Board members asked no substantive questions on the motions as presented and each item was approved by voice vote with no recorded negatives.
