He also reviewed indoor track results: Annie McCracken won the girls’ state pole‑vault championship, Tori Reynolds placed third in the high jump, and Ella Tomlinson finished sixth in the 3,200. The district sent 24 athletes to the indoor state meet, which Mr. Wolfe noted was more than any other Lincoln County school combined.
The board presented a Learning for Life Staff Appreciation award to GHS science teacher Diane McDonald, whose nomination praised her data‑driven approach and collaboration. GMS principal Lisa Warman recommended James Browder for the Licking County “Leaders for Learning” award for his work in ELA and experiential learning partnerships with Denison University and local businesses.
Coughlin Automotive’s “You Make a Difference” award went to GHS advanced chemistry teacher Emily Moon; freshman student Nash Tiger authored the nomination that emphasized Moon’s clear explanations and student support.
The recognitions concluded with photo opportunities and applause. The board proceeded to routine business after the commendations.
