On budget planning, Dr. Kimble reminded the board that staff have been seeking efficiencies to address potential revenue shortfalls. He reported staff had identified "somewhere in the neighborhood of $2.1 million in efficiencies" through internal vetting, and said many of the items presented that evening are renewals or operational items prepared now so services are in place for the next school year.
