The board introduced salutatorian Dylan Order and valedictorian Emery Kosak, highlighting their academic records and post‑graduate plans: Order plans to study neuroscience at Cornell, and Kosak will attend the University of Rochester to study psychology and linguistics. The board also recognized a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient for a project serving local veterans.
Career and technical accomplishments drew extended mention: BOCES and SkillsUSA competitors were praised for top placings, and DECA students were inducted into the New York DECA Honor Society. Administrators singled out two students—Dylan Order (98.6 on a DECA test) and Jace Moss—for international competition results.
Virtual Enterprise firm Tracer, described by students as an AI‑powered sports company that uses ball‑embedded chips and a wristband to feed performance metrics into an app, finished 13th overall at the international competition. Students said the product was aimed at performance improvement, recruiting and injury prevention; the board applauded the team’s finish.
