When asked whether he preferred a smaller limit, Hay Street Auto Sales’ owner, Mr. Knox, said, “I prefer that it stays 25.” A motion to amend the existing license to 25 cars was moved, seconded and carried.
Following that amendment, the board approved issuing a 25-car Class 2 used-car license to Gem Auto Sales. The board noted the action restores a known, reduced vehicle limit to the location while allowing the new applicant’s request to proceed.
No speaker raised objections to the motions during the floor vote and the board moved on to other agenda items.
