Southampton board previews five public hearings, reads long consent calendar of contracts and appointments

The consent reading that followed included resolutions authorizing purchases (mobile lifts, sweepers), professional services (engineering, video surveillance, virtual software upgrades), in‑home services agreements for seniors with Suffolk County Office for the Aging, and maintenance contracts for the 911 digital voice recording system. The board also read appointments, reappointments and notices of public hearings for additional CPF acquisitions, road‑review acceptances and committee appointments.
Board members asked for small corrections and clarifications to some titles and sponsors in the packet during the reading. Several members asked that staff add missing sponsors to resolutions and noted one resolution would be rescinded and cancelled.
