Jim Francis described overgrown vegetation along Union Landing Road that he said posed a safety concern with deer and vehicle collisions.
Committee members and Public Works staff acknowledged the concerns and said they are following up: Public Works noted outreach to multiple property contacts at Union Landing and confirmed the township may pursue violations if voluntary remediation fails. For the umbrellas, staff said the township is coordinating with the supplier (GameTime) and anticipates installation soon.
The public-comment exchanges underscored resident interest in the timing and scope of ongoing road work, park improvements, and property maintenance enforcement. Officials encouraged residents to contact Public Works for specific questions and to report locations needing immediate attention.
