Residents press council on pension timeline as forensic audit remains on hold

Separately, community members asked about the status of a high‑priced forensic audit. A city official said the audit company requested documents that federal authorities (the Attorney General's office and the FBI) are withholding until related legal proceedings conclude; consequently, auditors cannot complete their work and the audit will likely remain on hold until those documents are released.
Council asked staff to provide updates as RFP responses arrive and to schedule the retirement committee meeting cadence required by the RFP. The city said it will post procurement documents and updates on the website.
