Commission approves a slate of infrastructure contracts, ordinances and grants

- Ordinance 2025-21 and 2025-22: The commission approved carrying forward $250,000 in FY25 funds into FY26 to support the Bayou Golf Course bridge replacement and approved an Economic Development Corporation (EDC) grant/budget adjustment of $281,959 to cover the gap based on bids; Kristen Edwards said the Type A EDC may fund recreational and parks incentives that stimulate business activity. Commissioners Buouie and Knox participated in the motion and seconding on the EDC item.
