The council conducted the negotiation in executive session and reported the outcome in open session as a finalized motion authorizing completion of the settlement paperwork.
The council did not disclose the settlement’s financial terms or detailed provisions at the meeting. No subsequent direction to staff or public timetable for implementation was recorded on the record.
The council’s action closed the personnel item that had been taken up in private session; the mayor declared the council would proceed with the evening’s agenda.
