Parma Heights City Council on April 15 held the first of three readings for a resolution authorizing the mayor to enter into a Healthy Urban Tree Canopy Project Agreement with the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission. Council President Marie Gallo said additional information regarding the item was received that day, and therefore the council did not suspend the rules for immediate adoption.
Assistant Clerk of Council Nora Neel read the resolution by title only. Councilman Haase moved, seconded by Councilman Stavole, to read the resolution by title only; the minutes record the action as the first of three readings. Later in the meeting Councilman Stavole moved, seconded by Councilwoman Everett, to adjourn to executive session to discuss personnel matters regarding employment; the motion carried, and the council recessed to executive session at 6:34 p.m. The council reconvened at 8:10 p.m. and then voted to adjourn the special meeting at 8:10 p.m.
