Brunswick County Announces Ready Brunswick Preparedness Expo on May 5, 2026

Organizers described vendors who will provide guidance on preparing for tropical events and other severe weather, alongside personal-health vendors including dental services.
Officials also said food trucks will be available through the lunch hour and that attendees can expect some free snacks. The Expo will include interactive demonstrations and displays from public-safety partners, with the speaker specifically naming the Sheriff’s Office and the Coast Guard as participants that will show tools and equipment used during rescues and significant events.
Brunswick County Emergency Management closed the announcement by repeating the date, time and location and encouraging residents to “be Ready Brunswick.” The office said the event is intended to combine preparedness information with health resources to help residents better prepare for emergencies while addressing general wellness.
