Commissioner Hoover asked why construction and interconnection timelines had diverged; staff said that appears to be the case and suggested the applicant would be better positioned to explain the schedule. Matthew Seager, appearing for Delmarva Power, said he had no project-specific information but confirmed interconnection teams are working to expedite connections.
No applicant representative was present to answer timing specifics in the hearing. The commission conducted a roll-call vote and approved the requested waiver and extension unanimously.
The company will need to complete interconnection work and notify the commission if timelines change.
