Mr. Moniz, representing the town's 250th Commission, briefed the council on an outreach campaign to ‘‘fly the red, white and blue’’ across town and reminded residents that a Liberty Tree planting will take place April 10 at Tiverton Middle School at 10:00 a.m. He asked the public to display flags, bunting or other red-white-and-blue decorations for the anniversary period.
Other items raised during public comment included routine special-event supports and community concerns about vendor logistics at Four Corners events. The council did not take formal action on the water‑district correspondence during the public comment period; it instead moved on to its advertised agenda.
