Kaysville planning commission backs rezoning of Angel Street Soccer Complex to public use

Based on that background, staff recommended the commission forward a recommendation of approval to the city council.
The chair opened the public hearing; no members of the public spoke. After brief remarks from commissioners, Commissioner Jeremy moved to recommend approval "as recommended by staff," and a second was recorded. The commission then voted in favor and the motion passed. Commissioner Burton—ast an "Aye," followed by other affirmative votes.
The commission ction is a recommendation only; the city council will make the final determination. If adopted by council, the rezoning would formally match the parcel esignation to its current and intended use as a park and sports complex.
Next steps: the commission—orwarded its recommendation to the Kaysville City Council for consideration at an upcoming council meeting.
