"When the contract starts the assessor is required to put out notice. We'll put something out on the website... and the people who do come into our town, they all wear badges," a councilor said.
The council did not specify additional funding changes at the meeting; members discussed earmarking budget surplus funds to cover the reval cost rather than increasing taxes in the subsequent year.
The contract award passed on a council motion at the March 12 meeting.
