Later the board approved Inline for the Tigard‑Tualatin High School Restrooms Project (park‑style, vandal‑resistant restroom buildings with six individual units and small storage/custodial spaces) with an award not to exceed $1,366,000. Bond oversight committee volunteer Amalia Moore summarized the qualifications‑plus‑bid evaluation that produced Inline as the highest‑scoring and low bidder.
The board also approved a cooperative purchase through KCDA with Musco Sports Lighting LLC to replace metal‑halide fixtures with LED field lights at Tualatin High (upper field) and Tigard High (soccer field) for $768,682. Staff said the work should occur this summer pending vendor confirmation.
Board questions focused on construction phasing and community mitigation for lost athletic space. Staff said contractors will be asked during CM/GC interviews whether they can keep the field available during construction and they are exploring use of nearby Dirksen Park through the city as mitigation.
