Councilors also asked staff to remove an explicit cross-reference to Resolution 28-2021 and instead rely on internal language stating the chair may refuse to recognize disorderly participants.
Council members reviewed formatting and numbering glitches introduced by tracked changes and asked staff to add a concise reference directing the commission to follow Robert's Rules of Order or the council's policies when the commission's procedures are silent. The council voted to adopt the resolution with the agreed edits; roll call recorded Council Members Call, Schwab, Saunders, Dixon and Morris voting in favor.
Staff will correct the clerk-level numbering issues and produce the redlined text showing the adopted revisions for the planning commission and post the updated policy.
