Financial analyst Jacob de la Cruz described each annexation as the second and final step in the city's annexation process. Annexation 205 covers two parcels totaling approximately 5.06 acres north of Country Club Drive; annexation 206 covers a single parcel of about 5.06 acres at 72111 Clansancy Lane. The clerk reported that, for each annexation, ballots from the six eligible voters were received and were 100% in favor.
With no public testimony on either item, council members moved to adopt the resolutions calling the special elections, declaring the election results, approving the annexations and directing recording of the associated notice and documents. Both motions carried 4-0.
The actions finalize the territory additions to CFD No.1 as presented; staff recommended approval on both items and will complete the recording steps specified in the adopted resolutions.
