Lowden elected Avon Council president; Puckett chosen vice president in 3-2 roll calls

In a subsequent roll call for vice president, council named Jayson Puckett to the position. Bill Holland moved to nominate Puckett and Dawn Lowden seconded; the roll call recorded the same 3-2 pattern (Holland — FOR, Puckett — FOR, Lowden — FOR, Pope — AGAINST, Zusan — AGAINST).
