United South Central recognizes students for state‑level knowledge bowl, arts and FFA achievements

A knowledge bowl team consisting of Wyatt Hog, Madx Nebort, Ian McQueen and Seth Kazer represented United South Central at the state tournament — a rare district appearance at that level, board members said. District staff said they will prepare a photo for district communications when the students return to school.
Art students brought 16 pieces to a recent visual arts competition, receiving one "excellent" rating and 15 "superior" ratings; one student, Oliver Dreameiller, advanced to the state level. The board also congratulated named students who were singled out for honors.
FFA students attending the state convention included 12 competitors who earned state degrees: Colt Bullerman, Riley Steven, Braden Mun, Ivy Oor, Mitchell Meyer, Wyatt Ronhorse, Juliana Clar, Cade Wigger, Brody Steinhower, Jaden Barnick, Sydney Sock and Alyssa Winkl.
Board members praised staff for their work supporting extracurricular participation and noted upcoming events including prom and commencement.
