Deanna Baum presented the application, noting the parcels are 9.87 and 4.94 acres and the area’s future land use map shows agricultural designation. She said the Planning Commission reviewed the application on April 15 and voted unanimously to recommend approval. The application reverses a 2013 rezoning that moved the strip to industrial; the applicant asked to return it to agricultural.
A commissioner moved to approve the rezone “as presented”; the motion carried on a voice vote. The commission did not add exceptions or conditions during the meeting.
