PMP report: 84 million searches in quarter and account deactivations reduced registered pharmacist proportion

Staff noted the percentage of eligible pharmacists with PMP accounts decreased from 86.3% to 61.9%; the presentation attributed that sharp decline to a process of deactivating accounts determined to be no longer in use. Staff also said Texas added a data‑sharing agreement with Vermont, bringing the total number of jurisdictions Texas shares PMP data with to 42.
The board took questions on PMP downtime reporting and vendor monitoring; staff said the vendor monthly report indicated zero downtime for recent months.
