Resident asks Perrydale district to evaluate Sunnyside Road for bus turnaround and offers company resources

During patron input, a resident who identified themself as Bren asked the board to evaluate Sunnyside Road for a school-bus turnaround and asked who the contact would be to arrange an inspection. The resident said they had recently moved to Sunnyside Road and that they would be willing to construct a turnaround if the district recommended changes.
District staff member Dan responded that he would meet with the resident and consult with the district's bus company, Midco, to determine feasibility. The resident said they would be "more than happy to construct" improvements and offered to coordinate with the district and Midco.
Bren also introduced themself to the board, described moving into Perrydale, recounted prior school-board advocacy experience in another district, and offered the services and gravel resources of their employer (a quarry operation) and a training center for possible field trips or career programming.
"I could run for school board and be the superintendent's boss," the resident said, recounting their motivation for engaging with school governance, and added that they and their family appreciate the district.
District staff said they would follow up to inspect Sunnyside Road and to discuss possible modifications for a bus turnaround; no formal action was taken during public comment.
