Teacher proposes BEAM student enterprise to produce memorabilia, provide work-based learning

Buddy Hart, a teacher who oversees engineering and related classes, presented a plan at the April Springs Valley School Board meeting to launch BEAM (Blackhawk Engineering and Manufacturing), a student-run enterprise that would produce memorabilia such as keychains, ornaments and plaques.
