Board approves two personnel nominations, including new public health inspector

Separately, the board discussed Concord’s participation in the East Middlesex Mosquito Control District, noting the town pays roughly $22,000 annually for mosquito arbovirus monitoring and surveillance. Because the prior Concord representative moved out of town, the board nominated Melanie to serve as Concord’s commissioner to the district; members approved the nomination by voice vote.
Both actions were procedural votes taken during the meeting’s regular agenda. The board announced no recorded opposition or abstentions during the roll-call voice votes.
The board will reconvene on June 17, 2026, for its next regular meeting.
