Franklin County Legislature schedules public hearing on proposed PACE local law

On June 7 the Franklin County Legislature set a public hearing for Thursday, June 21 at 11:00 A.M. in the Legislature Chambers to consider a proposed local law to establish a Sustainable Energy Loan Program (commonly known as PACE).
The resolution says the county supports state and local goals for energy efficiency, reduced greenhouse-gas emissions, and the clean-energy economy and that property-assessed clean energy financing can help property owners install renewable systems and efficiency measures. The hearing was scheduled under Municipal Home Rule Law public-notice requirements.
The hearing provides the public an opportunity to review the proposed local law and comment before the Legislature considers adoption.
