The East Rutherford Board of Education approved two walk-on personnel resolutions after returning from executive session. The board voted 6–0 to approve a one-year contract for school business administrator and board secretary Alessandro Veraci for the 2026–27 school year, with the salary portion listed as $163,297.54 and subject to approval by the executive county superintendent.
The chair presented a second walk-on resolution to appoint Danielle Esposito as supervisor of student services for the 2026–27 school year, effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The salary for Esposito’s appointment was recorded as to be determined upon approval of the ERAA contract; the motion passed 6–0.
Board members cast their roll-call votes after each motion. The chair noted that both personnel actions are subject to any required external approvals and that contract details are on file in the superintendent’s office. No public comment or amendments were recorded during the votes.
The board adjourned shortly after approving the walk-on resolutions; the next regular meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, June 23 at 6 p.m.
