At its May 6 meeting the Uptown Butte Business Improvement District approved the purchase of 20,000 copies of an updated Uptown map to distribute for the summer season. The board received a printing quote of $5,960 and was informed that the Butte Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) will contribute $3,000 in July toward the cost.
The motion to purchase 20,000 Uptown maps passed following a motion by Matt Stajcar and a second by Shanna Adams. Board members said the final map will undergo a final review before going to print.
Separately, the board approved a new logo design during the meeting. The logo approval passed on a motion by Cassie Wick with a second from Mike Potts. Board member Cassie Benson is actively updating the BID website to incorporate new branding and content.
No additional budget line-item detail or total project budget was provided in the meeting minutes; the CVB contribution was discussed as a pledged contribution in July.
