Boscawen trustees approve 2025 filings and authorize $121,250 in capital reserve transfers

The Town of Boscawen Trustees of the Trust Funds voted unanimously April 13 to approve the 2025 Three Bearings MS-9 and MS-12 financial filings and to authorize two capital reserve fund transfers, Chair Polly Dawson said at the meeting.
The actions came at a brief meeting convened at 10:03 AM. Trustee Tim Kenney moved to approve the January 29, 2026 draft minutes; Chair Polly Dawson seconded and the motion carried with all in favor.
Chair Polly Dawson then moved to approve the 2025 Three Bearings MS-9 and MS-12 filings; Trustee Tim Kenney seconded and the trustees voted unanimously to adopt the filings. The board next approved two capital reserve fund transfers: $1,800 from the Townwide Safety Capital Reserve Fund and $119,450 from the Public Works Building Capital Reserve Fund. Both motions were made by Chair Polly Dawson, seconded by Trustee Tim Kenney, and passed with all trustees voting in favor.
Finance Director Kate Merrill was listed as attending and signed the minutes as "Respectfully Submitted." The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 10:15 AM, which passed unanimously. The trustees scheduled their next meeting for July 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
