Commissioners expressed interest in a review cadence shorter than the decades-long gap since the last plan and requested that staff advertise the appointment process, accept letters of interest and return candidate recommendations for commission consideration in May.
No final contract signature was recorded at the meeting; staff said the contract amount and timeline would be returned for formal approval at a future meeting once the advertisement and candidate-selection steps are complete.
