Mayor Morris presented an eight-item consent agenda that commissioners approved without objection. Items included waiver of fees at Hillcrest Park Zoo for an event; appointment of Christopher Gerke to the Planning and Zoning Commission; authorization to apply for a BUILD grant (request not to exceed $900,000); an Outdoor Recreation Trails grant application (up to $100,000) for Ned Halk Memorial Park signage; application for 2027 aging and long-term services capital outlay (up to $250,000); appointment of Donald Goings to the Public Works Committee; award of ITB 25093002 for on-call property mowing and weed abatement services to Piru Group LLC; and the ordinance-readiness item associated with the Water Trust Board loan acknowledgment (addressed separately). The consent agenda was adopted as presented.
