Clovis appoints Mondragon, Kinland and Fuentes to Economic Incentive Board

Raymond Mondragon — who the clerk identified as an incumbent and a governmental specialist with the Eastern Plains Council of Governments — spoke about his experience and asked to continue serving.
Other applicants addressed the commission, including Ricky Fuentes (who identified himself as chief information officer at Citizens Bank of Clovis) and applicants who described private-sector experience. Fuentes said he would bring "a practical balanced perspective when reviewing economic development opportunities" and emphasized infrastructure and financial sustainability.
After commissioners voted, the clerk announced Raymond Mondragon was elected as the District 4 representative; Alan Kinland and Ricky Fuentes were selected for the two bank/finance seats. The clerk and mayor thanked all applicants and encouraged them to pursue other service opportunities.
