• Drainage: Accepted the resignation of Gerald Crochet from the Pierre Part/Belle River Consolidated Drainage District and appointed Tad Blanchard as his replacement (committee motion adopted; resolution recorded 9–0).
• Budget/Contracts: Approved payment of bills through May 8, 2026; selected The Bayou Pioneer as the Official Journal for July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027; authorized re-advertising several surplus items (copiers, monitors, CCTV camera, laptop).
• Maintenance contracts: Authorized annual chiller maintenance with Chillco for $11,100 (May 1, 2026–April 30, 2027) and annual maintenance contracts with Boudreaux’s Electric for emergency and sewer plant generators not to exceed $12,000 per contract.
• Personnel: Approved nine remaining weeks of FMLA for an Equipment Operator II (contingent on required paperwork) and approved termination of a Master Equipment Operator effective 5/14/26.
• Projects and change orders: Approved Change Order #2 (Court House Renovations) for $24,334.13 and funding $2,573.98 from Change Order #1 (funded via parish 1%); approved Change Order No. 2 for Grant Park Restroom and Pavilion Building Project for $2,016.49; removed Plattenville Drainage and Bertrandville Canal Projects from SCPDC’s project list as completed.
• Intergovernmental and permits: Authorized the President to sign an Intergovernmental Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office (Hazard Mitigation Grant Program) and approved a Letter of “No Objection” for Uniti Fiber to install underground cable on Cherry Street right-of-way.
• Local code and services: Adopted Ordinance 26-05 to levy grass-cutting charges totaling $1,441.13 and approved first phase of derelict-structure procedures for two Napoleonville dwellings; authorized two street-light installations in the Consolidated Road Lighting District after a deviation.
• Other: Approved attendance at HUD OIG mandatory training for the Special Programs Director (estimated cost $370) and authorized President to sign DOTD agreement for RU-18-99-27 Public Transportation Capital Assistance Program (Council on Aging).
All items were approved by recorded motions and subsequent resolutions where applicable; no public comments were received on the contested personnel deviation.
