Council accepts FY25 audit after auditor reports clean opinion

A finance committee member moved to accept the audit and, after no discussion, the council approved the measure by voice vote. The finance committee had voted unanimously to forward the audit to the full council for acceptance.
The acceptance is a procedural step that finalizes the audit for the city’s records; the auditor invited council members to direct any follow-up questions to her or to the finance director, Jody Hicks.
The council took no additional fiscal action tied to the audit during the meeting.
