Board members then approved the districtlevel Single School Plan for Student Achievement for 2026-27 after principals from multiple sites described priorities for next year, including targeted intervention in English language arts and math, PBIS implementation, and efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism. Pendletonsite leadership reported gains in ELA and a focus on tier-2 interventions; other principals highlighted bilingual instructional aides and parent-engagement workshops.
The actions were passed during the regular meeting after routine agenda approvals and the consent calendar. The board did not receive public comment during the hearing session.
What happens next: The district will implement the approved Single School Plan elements at campus level and begin collecting implementation updates; the school-fee resolution will enable the district to charge statutory developer fees on qualifying new construction under the cited Education and Government Code sections.
