The St. Martin Parish Council adopted RESOLUTION NO. 26-046-RS to cancel the July 2026 Public Works and Administrative/Finance Joint Committee Meeting because several members plan to attend national and regional conferences in July. The resolution passed unanimously.
The council also reappointed Pamela Lemoins to the 16th Judicial District Children and Youth Planning Board for a two‑year term ending May 1, 2028, by RESOLUTION NO. 26-047-RS. That resolution passed unanimously.
Clerk Brooke Thibodeaux read the summaries of ordinances introduced for publication (Summaries No. 1544–1547), which cover equipment lease‑purchase, two parking restrictions on Orchard Park Drive, and a reduction to the extent of a parish servitude adjacent to a drainage channel; no final votes on those ordinances were recorded at the May 5 meeting.
