North Fayette supervisors approve Taco Bell restaurant and drive‑thru at 105 West Allegheny Road

The North Fayette Township Board of Supervisors on April 28 unanimously approved conditional‑use permits and final land‑development approval for a Taco Bell restaurant and drive‑thru proposed at 105 West Allegheny Road.

The board adopted Resolution No. 65‑26 granting conditional‑use approval for the restaurant, Resolution No. 66‑26 granting conditional‑use approval for a drive‑thru, and Resolution No. 67‑26 granting final approval of the Taco Bell land development plan. Each resolution was moved and seconded (movers/seconders recorded in the meeting minutes) and carried by roll call: Chairman Bob Doddato Yes; Vice Chairman Mark O’Donnell Yes; Treasurer Rich Valent Yes.

Mike Saville of the Department of Community Development told the board the application was received Feb. 5, 2026, and that the Planning Commission recommended approval at its April 2 meeting on the condition that the applicant address all Township and engineer review comments. Christian Kalischefski, the project engineer, told the board the team “are looking forward to introducing this restaurant to the area” and answered board questions during the public hearing. No members of the public spoke in opposition at the hearing.

The approvals clear the way for the developer to move forward with required site work and permit conditions required by Township staff and the Township engineer; the meeting record notes the approvals are subject to the applicant addressing outstanding review comments. The board recorded the motions and unanimous roll‑call votes as shown in the minutes.

The board adjourned to executive session later in the evening and reconvened before adjournment.
