New operator steps forward to revive Hartsdale Farmers Market; town to finalize contract

The town sent a draft contract to Catona during the meeting and staff said they would work with him and the town attorney on final terms; both sides expected progress in the following weeks. Board members expressed interest in a long‑term operator relationship and emphasized the importance of a successful relaunch for merchants and East Tarsel Avenue’s revitalization efforts.
No vote was taken; staff will continue negotiations and prepare a contract for board action.
