The Foxborough Select Board voted to approve a common victualler license for SCRAM Kitchen, Inc., d/b/a Scram Kitchen, a fast-casual breakfast-and-lunch concept proposed for 6 Mechanic Street.
Nick Casares, identifying himself as a co-owner, told the board the menu will emphasize made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos and bowls, and a range of coffee and drink options. He said the restaurant will use the existing seating and counter layout at the site and that the owners have more than 50 years of combined restaurant experience. Casares said opening hours will depend on demand but that the business plans to operate through the mid-afternoon on busier days.
Select Board discussion focused on menu, seating and hours; board members encouraged the applicants to connect with local business groups and landlords for networking. A motion to approve the new common victualler license was made and seconded during the meeting and carried on voice vote.
The board welcomed the new business and encouraged the owners to participate in local business outreach; the applicants agreed to forward a menu to the board/staff for the record. There was no recorded condition placed on the license.
