David Dennis, a Washington Street resident, told the council he was worried about his share of the cost and that "money is tight." A telephone comment from Wayne King was read into the record. Michael Carpenter provided the council with an estimate of the sidewalk square footage and which streets would be affected and noted that trees were affecting sidewalks; Herb Sheardy asked how many feet of sidewalk would be completed.
Councilmember Bob Eschenbacher moved to close the public hearing (22-M-131); the motion carried. On the regular agenda, Councilmember Don Hall moved to approve the proposed sidewalk repair and replacement project; Councilmember Jill White seconded and the motion carried (22-M-132). The minutes do not record a roll-call vote or dollar amounts for individual property assessments.
