Bridgewater commission repeals third‑party peer review for Old State Farm Trail filing

Levesque proposed repealing the peer‑review requirement and performing multiple, segmented visits to verify wetland flags.
Commissioners Laurie Keane (vice chair), Deb Johnson and Eileen Prisco said they supported Levesque’s approach, noting the wetland is extensive and will require several visits. The chair called for a motion to repeal the peer‑review requirement; the motion passed in a roll‑call vote with Keane, Prisco, Johnson and McDonald voting Aye.
McDonald said staff and commissioners will notify the public and invited other members to join the site visits; the hearing remains open and was continued to the commission’s June 11 meeting for follow‑up and any further action.
