Livingston County backs two farmland protection applications and seeks snowmobile trail grant to expand mileage

On trails, the board declared lead agency status under SEQR, adopted a SEQR negative declaration for the 2026-2027 NYS Snowmobile Trails Grant Program (Resolution No. 2026-164), and authorized submission of trail plans and applications on behalf of the Caledonia Trailblazers and Hill & Valley Riders (Resolutions Nos. 2026-165 and 2026-166). The approved trail mileage by club increased Livingston Countys submitted mileage from 67 miles in 2025-2026 to about 77.3 miles for 2026-2027 (table in minutes shows per-trail mileage by club and route).
The actions authorize the Chairman to sign necessary grant applications and related SEQR documentation.
