After discussion and a motion for reconsideration on one nomination, the council ultimately appointed Christina Delviere to an unexpired term and Tina Gomphitini to a full term on the regional planning commission, and approved other neighborhood and ward appointments including Abby Logtog (Ward 5) and alternates James Cooper and Veronica Gearhart. Some appointments prompted council debate about seniority and geographic representation; votes and a brief reconsideration were recorded in the minutes.
