At the April 15, 2026 meeting Rocky Ridge staff reported several routine but consequential items: a $360,000 railroad grant application was submitted on time with help from Shay Morrison, but formal discussion was postponed because Neva Ray was absent. The minutes note that the application is awaiting approval.
The Board of Adjustment update recorded that Alden Covington serves as chair with members Nephi Laub and Forrest Lewis, and that Clint Bronson accepted a position on the board to replace Byron Allred. The minutes do not record a vote for that appointment.
Departmental reports included: the CERT trailer is in the process of being completed; watering restriction flyers have been distributed and construction will begin on the Well 1 project with a side building that is not a confined space; the paving company is scheduled to pave Mountain Ridge next week; South park bathrooms are to be turned on and functional by the end of the month and North bathrooms' showers are expected to be complete by month-end; ball courts remain in planning while staff seeks firm pricing and materials; library updates were not recorded.
The meeting adjourned at 8:03 p.m. after a motion by Council Member Andrew Aagard that was seconded by Council Member Chuck Todd and approved by the council.
