Mayor (presiding) interrupted when Sharon’s time expired and later clarified that he had ordered a portable restroom delivered to Rainier Trails Park after a resident showed a video of alleged indecent exposure and complaints of public urination; he said the delivery was his executive decision to reduce future complaints and exposure to children. The mayor said the action did not require advance council budget authorization and that additional requests for sanitary facilities at other parks could be accommodated.
The council did not take immediate policy action during the meeting.
