The Dimmit County Public Facilities Corporation met in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Dimmit County Courthouse Annex on Oct. 27, 2025. County Judge Martha Alicia Gomez Ponce called the meeting to order at 1:27 p.m., and the clerk recorded a quorum of commissioners present.
The corporation approved the minutes of its Oct. 14, 2025 regular meeting, with a motion by Commissioner Alonso Carmona and a second from Commissioner Julissa Talamantes; the minutes were accepted "subject to corrections." The Personnel & Policy agenda item recorded no new business or action.
Commissioner Valerie Rubalcaba moved, and Commissioner Alonso Carmona seconded, that the corporation accept the monthly financial report; the motion carried. Separately, the corporation approved the claim docket for Public Safety in the amount of $22,632.28 on a motion by Commissioner Alonso Carmona and second by Commissioner Valerie Rubalcaba. The minutes note that supporting attachments are on file.
A final motion to recess and adjourn was made by Commissioner Alonso Carmona, seconded by Commissioner Jose A. Urenda, and carried. The meeting adjourned at 1:30 p.m. No votes or actions beyond approvals of the minutes, the monthly report and the listed claim docket were recorded in the minutes.
