Board approves Naphcare MAT contract and jail re-entry supports funded by opioid settlements

Finance Director Michelle Weidner submitted the contracts for the board; motions to approve were made and adopted unanimously. The contracts are explicitly funded with Opioid settlement funds and cover program operations and re-entry supports through June 30, 2027. No further budget amendments were identified for these items in the record.
The board placed contract documents on file and authorized the Chair to sign. These actions expand MAT availability inside the jail and allocate settlement dollars to both clinical services and support for re-entry, including transportation assistance.
