• Donations: The board accepted multiple gifts to town programs and funds: $75 from Noah Young to the Wareham Free Library; $100 from Noah Young to the Council on Aging; $200 from Anna and Elijah Lamacchio to the Wareham Free Library gift fund; $100 from Teresa Norton to the Wareham Free Library gift fund; and an anonymous $1,000 donation to the Wareham Free Library gift fund. All donations were moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
• Minutes: Minutes for the Dec. 2 and Dec. 16, 2025 regular sessions were moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
Why it matters: The senior tax work-off program provides benefits and service opportunities for older residents; small donations support library programs and senior services.
What’s next: Staff will implement the senior program under Council on Aging guidelines and process accepted donations through the town treasury according to standard procedures.
