Cabell County Commission approves EMS reclassifications and multiple per‑diem hires

The commission also approved employment of seven per‑diem EMTs — Haley Mikael Bays, Zachary Austin Carr, Ryan Maxwell Cook, Nicholas Pascua Deguzman, Whitlee Allyn Howard, Alec Nolan Murray and Nathaniel Henry Strong — effective Oct. 27, 2017, at the stated hourly rate. Those hires were approved by motion of Jim Morgan, seconded by Nancy Cartmill, and were recorded as unanimous votes.
The personnel actions were presented as resolutions on the agenda and have been entered into the meeting record. No debate or amendments were recorded on these items during the meeting.
